 JohnDenver writes: The impact of the extra oil revenues on international financial markets is hard to assess. Flows of funds are never easy to trace, especially when their sources are keen to keep them quiet. There are dark whispers in oil circles that cartel members, especially Saudi Arabia, want to keep much of their new money out of American banks and markets because of “post September 11th scrutiny.”
