Light Sweet Crude Oil

Member Quotes
Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

The UK's rail network, whilst very extensive, is overloaded to breaking point as it is. The reason we don't have more goods hailed by rail is simply that it's pretty damn difficult to schedule in any ...

My personal peeve...

Affect and effect. They are not the same! One is a verb and the other a noun.

I know I can go to the junkyard and come back with enough parts to build a working windmill generator.
I know I can us ...

Anything that can buy us more time to switch as much of the economy as possible to renewables is a good thing. This sounds like it has the potential to do that.

If you have a suitable problem (i.e, a huge amount of data to be processed using simple known rules) for the distributed supercomputer to solve, sure it would help.

Are there any suitable problems ...

I have visions of Rambo in camo gear sneaking around at night, with an ammo belt loaded with blackberry seeds and apple pips.

Realistically though... people will ste ...
