I think this is the beginnings of an economy based on perpetual growth and fossil fuel energy running headlong into geological energy constraints. Basically I see an undulatory downward path for the rest of my life. From here out, I think any rallies in our economic condition are going to be met with spiking commodity prices that knock us right back down.

Pleased to make your acquaintance JT.

WRT old pickup trucks and fuel efficiency, y'all would be surprised. Not all of those trucks weighed 4000lbs had giant V8s in them. Mine had a little slant 6 ...

I didn't know Shasta was low. The reservoirs along the Southern Sierra from Kern Co to Merced are frighteningly low. Past Sacramento the water levels are a little better but still nothing to feel co ...

^ WTF?? The US dollar is weaker today and at any rate, oil and the buck rose together last week. I call BS on that story.

As for contract expiry, quite a few times when we've hit contract expiry t ...

The June contract plunged to 121.51 in a matter of mintues. This reminds me of the price action back in mid March when we had that 7 dollar movement within a single trading day. Glad I was only long ...

Yup. Utterly untradeable. Took profit this morning on a single long & wasn't about to short it on the supply & demand report. Saw that gold wasn't crashing into the market close like crude ...

Ok folks, the Dow futures closed down today at 10:30 Eastern below 11600, the Nasdaq futes are down over 75pts and the S&P futes are down 60 pts at 1265.5. When added to the price action last wee ...

YC-F8 rang the 61.8 Fibonacci bell in the low 94s and went on to hit 94.85 before giving up a dollar as fast as it gained it. Me thinks this was a blow off top to squeeze out all those pesky shorts. ...

Nice how crude is down 70 cents after being up a couple bucks on one of the biggest inventory drops ever. Utterly untradeable.
