Well, I'm going to jump in here and say Tasmania. Cool temperate climate that is absolutely terrific for growing crops, lots of water so long as you buy in the right spot. Lots and lots of farmlets ... |

I would have to say that Tasmania (The island at the bottom of Australia) would be an even better place to live as it has better rainfall, a cooler climate and very low population density.
