Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

I think Bloomberg needs to be aware that there is a difference between the U. S. Government and the Federal Reserve. I believe the Federal Reserve is free to spend their money however they see fit. ...

Go back and try and find someone who claimed that a natural consequence of peak oil ( whether you want to call it 2005, or 2006 ) would lead to a price collapse and happy motoring again.

Sure s ...

How come you can't install a regular wood stove? .

Wood stoves have been outlawed in many municipalities. The smoke and smell are considered to be obnoxious, and the stoves themselves may be perc ...

I don't have one, but I know someone who sells them. He is selling them as fast as he can stock them and install them right now, since a lot of people in our area panicked over $4.50/gallon fuel oil. ...

Lively discussion here. Based on my reading of the weekly inventory reports provided by the U. S. DOE, I will state the following things, which may be in disagreement with what others have said:
1) ...

Liberals only believe in freedom of speech, when it is speech that they approve of.

Who was it that opposed flag burning?

Don't want to pay taxes, don't work so hard! Very Happy

I love this idea that you make over $200,000/yr by working harder. I was offered a $200,000/yr job once, but I said, "No thanks. That's too ...

The U.S. is loosing the "real war" against terrorism in Afganistan.
