How then, do we move backwards? How does a society, with most of the people having no clue of future events, move from being dependent on a vast and intertwined network of goods and services produced by the indigenous people of whereever, to a local resource and renewable energy based society, and do so in the timeframe available (20-30 years using the most liberal extimates, 10-20 with resonable estimates, 5-10 with worst case scenarios), all the while prices on everything increasing, world politics getting more militaristic, governments continuously reducing civil liberties, shortages of goods on the market and weather patterns resembling bad Hollywood movies?

Have you ever been to a power plant? There are 100's of miles of piping, pumps, valves, fans, regulators. You can't replace everything vulnerable every outage. Changing a boiler feed pump could cost s ...

A timer or a special plug in their gaurage could easily do the trick.

A timer alone (which isn't what I am calling a smart charger) does not solve all the problems I have mentioned. Such as chargi ...

Ha ha, you don't understand what planned outage means. Planned outages are those that are....guess what....... PLANNED!

So even though you're telling me power stations are constantly having these u ...

Go ahead plug 0% into your calculations, I already said that charging would be regulated before and after additional power was built. If you want to charge during peak before extra capacity is built, ...

Couldn't find one huh?

There is a reason for that.

So are you charging all 100,000 of these vehicles off of one power plant right? Where is this plant located? We already went over how each grid ...

Show me one credible link that suggests that 100,000 EV's spread across the country on every grid could not be powered by existing capacity. Just one.

I am waiting bet you won't find one.

Why do ...
