The problem w the oil sands is that you're limited by production rates. If reserves were everything we'd have no worries! |

I'm a bit indifferent since I buy only renewable generation, but I would still say coal isn't so shabby when you can use natural gas for other applications such as chemical feedstocks etc.

This is very typical. What they don't mention is that most of this water is removed from the produced oil prior to hitting the main pipeline.
