Hoarding is exactly what the government is doing right now by filling the SPR, and frankly it's the best thing that could happen. It drives prices up. High prices encourage demand destruction. They also finance new well development. The hoarded oil gives us a buffer to fall back on once shortages become more prevalent. High prices are what we need in order to adapt to what's coming, and the sooner they happen, the better.

I just tried 'zombie hordes' and was advised there weren't enough searches made to generate a graph.

There is therefore still plenty of time before things fall apart, folks. Smile

However, "[url ...

So we've tossed around hundreds of present and future options for reducing our dependence on oil, but what's something that could help people in the short term without necessitating huge changes?

Absolutely facinating. Please consider posting this information every month if it won't go against Google licensing. It's impossible to say anything certain without several months of data, but my fir ...

I say that what we need now is a little home cooked patriotism, and not faux-patriotism through stick waving.

Bring 'em home - all of them. It's time for us to get the hell out of everybody's busi ...

Oil is a valuable commodity and the Americans don't have a birthright to it that supercedes everyone else's right to purchase oil.

Wanna say it to their face?

No, he's right, we don't have a bi ...
