At the same time USA is probably the country in the world which has the biggest potential to reduce consumption. Millions of Americans are able to switch to lighter/more efficient cars that could redu ...

Norwegians spend less of their money on gas compared to 1998.

The gas price has increased 55% from $6.13/gallon in May 1998 to $9.49/gallon in May 2008.

The average salary has increased 50-55% d ...

A small $30 correction I would guess. Then when everyone think we'll going back to "normal" prices again it will rise to $160 within a few months.

Here in Northern Europe I think we will handle at least $500/barrell pretty easily.

For instance in Norway 55% of the price is still taxes. Even at $20/barrell we were paying $7/gallon and now we'r ...

I think we will see some profit taking around $115, but it will definitely not go below $100.

I think we'll see some profit taking around $115. Maybe down to $105. Then up again.

I don't think we'll ever see oil bellow $100.

The last days makes me wonder if we're at the foot of a superspike... Maybe $200 in mid-summer?
