We cannot drill our way out of this oil crisis. Since 2000, oil companies working in the U.S. have doubled the number of wells drilled per year.

Although increased drilling has added new oil to the nation's supply, it has not done so fast enough to offset the terminal decline of existing fields.

We are going to have to import more of our oil. Period.

The deficit is far worse for the US than for China. -3.6 vs. -0.3

Yeah, but China's per capita ecological footprint is only 1.2, whereas the US's per capita ecological footprint is 10.3! If we all ...

Just thought to say that the book, though general, is clearly aimed at temperate to colder climates in the lower 48 United States.

In response to the first post: a strong minority if not majority of the questions you were looking into are answered in a general but useful way by a book I just picked up at Costco for $12.50 entitle ...

It always amazes me what a low opinion of their fellow man many Christians have. Oh well, it's not surprising.I had to read this several times to overcome my surprise and gauge your meaning. I have m ...

TrueKaiser, I was making a case (or perhaps merely alluding that a case can be made) for a global elite who are posturing themselves to take advantage of overshoot and collapse. If you disagree that ...

I recently saw some of Alex Jones' shows. It looks like he's itching for a street brawl with what he sees as the most powerful and dangerous men in the world. In one video clip he actually recounts ...
