Hoarding is exactly what the government is doing right now by filling the SPR, and frankly it's the best thing that could happen. It drives prices up. High prices encourage demand destruction. They also finance new well development. The hoarded oil gives us a buffer to fall back on once shortages become more prevalent. High prices are what we need in order to adapt to what's coming, and the sooner they happen, the better.

If you believe in PO then why worry about GMO's or the effects of NG or oil based fertilizers on food?

Because if PO really happens, then the cost of growing non-organic food will skyrocket, thus ...

I live a prepared life. Too many aspects to post here about what that means. Just suffice it to say that I can outwit, outlast, and outsurvive with the best of them.

I don't know any survivalist girls who are anywhere near my age. I don't think girls would ever make that type of decision until they're much older. I'm going to an ecovillage in Finland in August.

On the last forum I was on we had a woman 'Julie' that thought her best bet was to put her preparedness efforts in jewelry and makeup. She figured she would be useful to men and not get shot.
