7 years ? Cold fuzion will come even faster. I heard that the prez just made a technology transfer deal with the Ferengi just for the price of 1 small continent . It will happen in just 6 years if he wins the election.

These researchers are way out on a limb here, a place they seem to be in a habit of going to. Even if their technology works they would still face the problems of hydrogen storage (very challenging, other pie-eyed announcements not withstanding) and distribution (extremely expensive). Since they don't even allude to these obvious, major problems, I don't trust these guys one bit.
