I'm surprised this slipped under the radar (or at least I missed the posting)
The Potential Crisis at Fannie Mae
The fact that they have to review their books to prove or disprove accounting errors is one thing, but the fact that their books are in such bad shape that it will take "six to eight million" man hours to verify the books is another.
anybody have any more insight or info on this _________________ Angry yet? |

I suspect Fannie Mae is clustered with cronyism and corruption that would rank right up witht he best in the world.

any holder of long term debt instruments, say 30yrs
out at 5.6% return is in real trouble. |
