Well it is ridiculous, it's middle class council workers and teachers that come out with most of this nonsense, I don't suppose any gay people would be offended at all. After all, everyone is exposed to wedding scenes everywhere, everyday.

BUT remember a lot of this PC stuff comes because of fear of being sued; we'd have to tackle the compensation culture first.

Leaving that aside, what the original poster first wrote might attract an arrest under the Terrorism act if he was here and would be locked away for 28 days, 90 if Tony had got his way. So wishing for a totalitarian state is equally stupid. On the other hand he might be gay.

I don't think you could make something that stupid up, it's like some sort of insane alternate universe living here in the UK.

To the original poster, I'd be very careful what you wish for. While I agree this crap needs cleaning up VERY fast in the west I wouldn't wish an Islamic state on anyone. Unfortunatley I believe they have what it takes to be a major power post PO.

I also doubt that anyone in the gay community would find looking at traditional wedding scenes offensive.....However I am VERY sure that there would be many straight couples who WOULD be offended looking at gay wedding scenes.
JayBee.....the destruction of the west that you seem to look forward to so much, will not see the end of homosexuality.....Or is it just gay marriage you object to? I would be interested to hear your thoughts.

The pictures at Liverpool Register Office are being replaced with landscapes ahead of the introduction of "gay weddings" later this year.

I suffer from agoraphobia and I am seriously offended by the display of open landscapes. I don't understand why I must be persecuted, I am a protected member of society.

homosexuality is normal lifestyle as well as being natural lifestyle. You're a fool to think otherwise. Why should it not be promoted? Do you think people can be persuaded to be gay? Again you would be a fool to think that.

What does nature intended mean? Do you not realise that homosexuality happens in the natural world?

Marriage is not a special word for two people who intend doing what nature intended. It is a word used to describe a man & a woman who engage to live with each other during their joint lives.

Imagine a world where people with blonde hair & blue eyes were victimised. Imagine how unfair that would be. But it is just as unfair for gay men & women to be victimised, as they have no choice in their sexuality.

I work for a large IT company, and two weeks ago I was in a board meeting, which consisted of 10 middle aged white men (all married). The only woman I spoke to was the secretary on the way in. I have worked here for 11 years & I cannot recall 1 executive (or manager come to think of it) who was not white. So yes there is a good argument for affirmative action.
