For those who haven't read Andrew's Introduction to his book "The Final Energy Crisis", here is a link to Yahoo's Energy Resources where Andrew posted his excerpt way back on March 21st, 2003:

"The Final Energy Crisis" has made it to print! I've read the intro, but have yet to get the book. Any readers here at PeakOil.com read it yet?

I am rereading this book, it's ok but thought it was a bit disjointed, and not for someone who needs to be convinced. It ruled out Nuclear without going into detail, and made silly comments about the limits of Solar in the deserts because of the effects on the habitat, given that peak oil will bring about wars, I think worrying about minor damage to deserts is not worth mentioning
