Whats the news from the Bayou City?
I am finding that my friends and relatives in the Houston area are deeply entrenched in denial.
Moreso than any other group of friends/relatives that I've been speaking to.
Knowing the area quite well, I'm pretty concerned. I don't know how to encourage my family. _________________ "There are no hereditary kings in America and no powers not created by the Constitution. " U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor

Seriously, it's like Houston is asleep.
No response from other Houston Peak Oil forums, either.
My mother has seen the writing on the wall, the rest of my family is in deep trouble. _________________ "There are no hereditary kings in America and no powers not created by the Constitution. " U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor

I was in Houston for several hours on Friday. Couldn't wait to get out. It's my home town and still feels like home to me, but I can't help thinking it's going to be on the short list of the worst places to be when things accelerate. Can't give you any advice about the denial, sorry - people are hard to reach, at least for me. I got my mom out of there last summer and hopefully my sister will get out in about 6 months. _________________ I drink your milkshake.

I just don't know.
Maybe it's my presentation, it's hard to find the right balance of urgency without sounding like a lunatic.
I'm planning a trip home to Houston this fall, it's very likely to be my last.
I hope not, but who knows? _________________ "There are no hereditary kings in America and no powers not created by the Constitution. " U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor
