I missed that thread but I'm reading through it now. I think the point is though....

INSUFFICIENT DATA FOR MEANINGFUL ANSWER.

The answer is so complex that the question is the only obvious answer.


On the other hand I tend to subscribe to the notion that given an infinite amount of mass and time anything AND everything will occur.... Maybe our universe is just massive enough for us to occur within this short period of time.

I first heard this story in the form of a planetarium show in the 70's.
