Hoarding is exactly what the government is doing right now by filling the SPR, and frankly it's the best thing that could happen. It drives prices up. High prices encourage demand destruction. They also finance new well development. The hoarded oil gives us a buffer to fall back on once shortages become more prevalent. High prices are what we need in order to adapt to what's coming, and the sooner they happen, the better.

Congrats!

Have you thought about baby names yet or is it too early?

I'm thinking Marion would be nice. Cool

Aside from the obvious, the baby name site said it's derived from Mary:
It is of Latin origin, and its meaning is "star of the sea". Saint Jerome associated the Virgin's name with the Latin phrase "stella maris". Other possible meanings are (Hebrew) "wished-for child; rebellion; sea of bitterness".

All right, enough of this clucking.

Too bad, Vladimir is a nice name, but hey it could always be a middle name...

And congrats on everything! Very Happy

I had good friend in college who kind of didn't know what to think or
do when it turned out his girlfriend was pregnant. Man was his
head spinning, but now they are raising their third kid. It's a big
thing. And just think of how special it will be teaching this child all
the things you know!
This is a really special time.

Quote:
The boy's name Vladimir \v-ladi-mir, vl(a)-dimir\ is of Slavic origin, and
its meaning is "renowned prince".

Some other ideas for middle names:
Alucard, Aaron, Noraa

Are we going to have a poll on baby names? Very Happy

I think King as a middle name would be a nice tribute. Smile

How nice. I've been through this a few times and can share in your excitement.

Vladimir is out, huh? Well, ... how about Ernesto? Ernesto King has a nice ring to it, don't you think? Smile

Congratulations! Names? Francesca, Eden or Sophia, if it is a girl. If it's a boy, and it will likely be...don't know.
