CARRIZO SPRINGS, Texas -- An oil rig exploded near Carrizo Springs on Thursday, critically injuring six people, law enforcement authorities said.
The victims were expected to be transported to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, law enforcement authorities said.
Two of the injured were a father and a son, law enforcement authorities said.
The explosion happened around 7 a.m. off FM 186 southwest of Carrizo Springs.
