Bush tells world Oil is running out!

President Bush has told leaders of the oil-rich states of the Middle East that they must face up to a future without their precious hydrocarbons, says The Scotsman.

In a stark warning, he said their supplies were running out and urged them to reform and diversify their economies.

Somehow still Bush comes off as arrogant fool. The world will have to do without but no mention of US having to go without.

So on my "OH crap" meter, hearing Bush say something at that economic forum so openly about oil decline makes it rise a bit. So should I take this as one of the bigger signs that the proverbial crap will hit the fan within a year or so, if not this late summer?

The ME Gulf will not have to do without oil for this entire century. They will be able to produce enough to meet domestic needs for many decades. I do not understand why George Bush, or anyone else for that matter, is so concerned about them.
