http://www.primetimeshortwave.com/ gives a pretty good list of whats on when.

http://www.retards.org/radio/shortwave_schedule/ shows whats on now

you can also use a program like http://www.radioexplorer.com.ru/en/ to tell you whats on now and whats most likely to propogate to you

having said all that I find there just isn't much interesting on the shortwave these days. News from cuba and china is always kind of interesting to hear their viewpoint.

Radio Shack once had a SW directory on the shelf, but I don't think they sell anything but phones now.

I like the German news, too. Radio Deutchewelle? Something like that. The Aussies are great, too!
