I read somewhere the Declaration of Independence could not have been written and signed any time other than late spring or early Summer.
Any other time and the mind was set on other tasks: such as survival.

Took the puppy on a walk down by the falls this morning
(saw people fishing and boating but no kayak runners like this pic)
