Maybe they thought the WaMu crash wasn't enough. Better come up with some other reasons we "need them."
I've become so very cynical lately... |

How do you get Kcal9 living in Arizona? I didn't even listen to them when I had a TV. Was this on their website? _________________ Skeptical scrutiny in both Science and Religion is the means by which deep thoughts are winnowed from deep nonsense-Carl Sagan |

RE keeps alluding to this. I got nothin' on Google News or Blogs except some story about trucks and air quality.

Police Check Suspicious Cargo At L.A. Port
| Quote: | Police Check Suspicious Cargo At L.A. Port
LOS ANGELES (AP) ― A terminal at the Port of Los Angeles has been reopened after it was closed for about four hours because of a suspicious cargo container.
Port spokeswoman Theresa Adams Lopez says an x-ray scanner detected the suspicious container Thursday and officials called in the Los Angeles police bomb squad to check it out.
The bomb squad determined that the container's contents were not hazardous.
Officials would not say what was inside.
She says the container was returned to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials, who plan to unload it for further inspection. |

Containers are being "X-ray scanned"? I had no idea. _________________ "Thank you for attending the oil age. We're going to scrape what we can out of these tar pits in Alberta and then shut down the machines and turn out the lights. Goodnight." - seldom_seen |
