American Nazism in the 40s
Has anyone read a book about America in the 40s and what might have happened if lindbergh was president and turned it into practically a nazi state? I don't think it's Phillip roth's A plot against america, although they are very similar. I was reading it a few weeks ago and lost it,and now can't remember the title or authjor. it would be very helpful if someone could remind me. |

| You are correct. It is Philip Roth's A Plot Against America. I tried googling for other books dealing with that subject, and the only other title that came up was It Can't Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis. But that book deals with a fictional fascist character based on Coughlin and Long, not Lindbergh. |

I read the plot against america and thought it was pretty damn good..I didn't know sinclair lewis had written anything based on father coughlin and long but wouldn't mind checking that out myself.. _________________ Human history becomes more and more a race between education and catastrophe.-H.G.
