I go out this morning to water and see cat prints and a dug hole where a cat took a leak in my spinach. I know dog and cat feces are a no no, but can I still eat the spinach? Or just toss it?

Cats wee no problem if washed off.

Don't toss off into it though - then definitely nobody will eat it.

Either you own the garden, or the cat does.

At this point, I'd say that the cat owns it, and you are its bitch. Have you got the message yet?

Cat feces contains many wonderful pathogens. DAFS.

I recommend .22LR.

You must teach the cat some democracy ... if ya know what I mean Wink ... or at least do some form of preventive strike.

I recommend hitting her from the side, with an orange ... close range.

Eating it will give you cataracts.

Great way to befriend the neighbors, kill their cat. Fantastic idea! Can't speak for the cat owner in your neighborhood but if someone shot my cat for peeing in their garden I'd be tempted to tamper with their garden in a whole lot more nefarious ways than that (only tempted of course but I never commit crimes in real life of course, I follow the law & PO CoC in my every move).

On the Internet everyone can be "the man" and whoever gives them crap gets bitch slapped across the room. Real life isn't quite like that. Sometimes a bit of subtlety is in order.

Yes real life is that simple. You shoot the cat. Put it in a bag. through it in the bed of your pick up truck. Drive to a nearby commercial garbage bin and toss it in.
I speak from experience from a cat that loved to get in my garbage cans.
Neighbor comes by and asked if you seen her cat. " Nope I sure haven't. Did it run away?"
That last statement usually seals the deal and they then think the cat ran off while you are being totally sympathetic to them and their plight.

My German Shepherd would take care of that nonsense. Unless you have a mouse problem and need the lazy cat.

HaHa my previous neighbor had zillions of cats...they kept jumping over the fence where my dogs made short work of them...after the second one I thought "oh crap now I have to go tell my neighbor" a quiet old redneck guy...he just laughed and said you want me to throw some more over the fence....we miss him now....

Actually I love animals but it's kind of funny to joke about. My German Shepherd seems to think cats are an affront to decency though and chases them within an inch of their lives when she gets the chance.

I had the same problem when the neighborhood cats decided my flowerbed was their litterbox. Planted cacti - that got rid of a few. Planted LOTS of garlic. They haven't been back, and on hot days my yard smells like garlic bread. Confuses the neighbors.

Unless your neighbor does the same to you. Although, I suppose for a dead person life would be pretty simple, so NVM...
