Spread the word of Ecopsychology

That's an interesting perspective. I've been reading an article on Ecopsychology by Theodore Roszak et al. Guilt about the abuse of the earth, lack of defining milestones and rituals (spiritual), disconnectedness from the earth all are contributing factors to fanatical behavior (not only terrorists but extreme religious movements, gangs, etc).

I more troubled with the current situation of our environment. it is continuously deteriorating and we have to move fast. I understand very less work has been done to this direction and world wide mass education is the need of the day. Can someone suggest how best we can spread the awareness.

there is nothing wrong about conjecture or explanation if it sheds light on phenomena. What edgar99k2 says makes sense.

In Universal terms, our Earth is in the first trimester, & is likely not considered truly "alive" yet.

A million monkeys on a million typewriters produce Shakespeare... but not all of em.

Many produce nothing useful at all.

Some fade away before they even really begin.

And when I say "some" I mean countless trillions which compose the vast majority, of course.

If this was all intentionally designed at some level, then I'd like a few words with the architect.

Like the long-suffering, silent wife who enables her alcoholic husband to continue his destructive lifestyle, conservation, recycling & similar ecologically friendly practices simply enable others to expand their destructive footprint on the environment.

Absent a Global "intervention", to prevent greedy people from expanding their ecologic exploitation of our planet, efforts to reduce the impact of human civilization on the environment will not only fail, but will simply shift this destruction into the much less capable hands of the developing world.

That kind of control is only possible at the point of a gun... if then.
