Anyone own one?
When i was a kid my buddy brought over a couple and we scanned my backyard and found a ton of pennies and maybe a few larger coins. Was a lot of fun! I've always had it in the back of my mind to buy one, but never have.
Any recommendations?
Might be a good way to clean up the backyard or even find those lost gold nuggets you buried in attempt to hid the stash from the zombies. _________________ "Oil is going up because we use too much oil, and the capacity to replace reserves is dwindling"

I don't have one anymore, but I used to have an old one that ran off a
9 Volt. It was a relatively cheap design and you had to calibrate it a
lot, but it worked. I used to use it to find metal target point arrows.
I'll probably pick another one up sometime, I think they're a useful
thing to have around and there's certainly a history of their use in
struggling economies...
