Science Daily article
This came out a couple of days ago but I think it may have some significance. AFAIK, this is the first study to conclude that there is a link between car pollution and asthma. I know it has long been suspected but I believe never statistically linked. |

Looks like the asthma rates match up well with the per capita oil use.
To improve mass transit options this is a serious tool. It may not be possible to reach people with the peak oil message since many folks still think that we have plenty oil in the ground.
The prevalence of asthma increased 75% from 1980-1994. Everybody knows someone with lung conditions or has lung conditions themselves.
Has anybody put a package together here to take to local transportation meetings? |
