I wonder if anyone noticed the little part about Y2K at toward the end of the segment? Almost like Colbert was poking fun at Kunstler for his doomerism back then, and tried to relay that for today to say that "see this man preached doom before and was wrong, what's to say he is right about peak oil now?" I must admit though that I was surprised to see a prime time channel(Comedy Central) have a a peak oil prophet speaking on cable TV, specifically TV that targets the 18-24 year old segment.
