Integrating poll question with the forums

It seems as though very few people discuss the poll question. I think it is because the format for discussing poll questions is rather undesirable when compared to the main forums. Is there anyway to integrate the poll questions from the main page into the forums? Maybe posting the poll as a sticky topic in the open discussion forum? Then, when a new poll is introduced, moving the old one to a Previous Polls forum. There, if members want to continue debating a poll, they will have the option to do so.
