Light Sweet Crude Oil

Member Quotes
Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

I bought a couple pairs of pants at Walmart today. That new Chinese textile export tax is going to play havoc with cheap Walmart clothing prices, so I thought I'd stock up before the tax manifests in the marketplace.

5 years I have been into peak oil..I moved 500 miles from southern ontario to northern ontario and it has been a struggle to get to the point I am..as a single mother of 4 children..but i spent the day putting all of the flour i had and most of the rice in my freezer(as suggested to me) for 2 weeks to rid them of bugs..we will transport this stuff when ready to our camp in nana land...good thing about the north not many up here and if you know how to survive all,s the better..saw beavers skinned this winter and how to set minnow traps..lots of neat stuff..

I'm sitting here at work collecting money That I need to buy things that I will need but not getting much else useful done. It's been bothering me lately but I know that that feeling will get worse later this year. I really really really want to get that woodstove installed and working before fall comes. After that I can figure it out but that woodstove is on my mind a lot lately. It's funny though, last winter was cold and we had some bad storms but the electric heat did just fine for me.

I think deep down I believe this is my last summer to try and do something big like this reno/upgrade. Next summer could be too late and I can't do this over the winter.

I do know that I'm anxious if I'm not prepairing things lately.
