Both the worst and the best case scenario are horrible.

Welcome to the new Book/Media Reviews Section!

The intention behind this sub-forum is to bring together, in an easy-to- browse place, reviews of all the literature, publications, audio/video and professional presentations that have made their way into public purvue. So, if you have either written yourself or have seen other reviews of books such as Powerdown or High Noon for Natural Gas, DVDs such as End of Suburbia, Newspaper or Journal articles, or Interviews, etc., please put them here.

I will begin by bringing already existing Review Threads (or parts thereof) to this area.

Proviso: Please be aware that to preserve the modicum of professionalism this Section needs to have, I will be moderating it very closely and will be pruning out anything that doesn't pass the minimum critical-thinking-content-level test. Cogent comments that are not directly reviews will be moved to an appropriate Discussion area.

Lastly, there is also already another Reviews resource at Peakoil.com: http://www.peakoil.com/reviews.html that can be used for cross-referencing.

Thanks a million to everyone for making this the useful resource that it is becoming. Thanks also to Admin Sr. for letting me get this going. The ROI dividends are worth the real-estate it's taking up, by my estimations.

Not to be saccharin sentimental, but I'm liking the way this is turning out.

I should point out again thanks to a tickler from Aaron that formal reviews are being collected and posted here:
http://www.peakoil.com/reviews.html

I see it's under the News section. May I recommend, Aaron, that somewhere in this Header:

Welcome to Reviews Section

Reviews

Peer Reviews

at the top of that page, we craft some language to make clear what's going on there, what to expect and what/how to post?

I'm looking forward to reviews of the books listed on
http://www.peakoil.com/fortopic4694.html
when they're available.
