The US and the EU would like the Iranians to abandon the Uranium enrichment program.
The Iranian president says if you screw with us "no oil for you!"
Iranians use oil as a threat if they are sanctioned
If this ever happens 100 oil will be a bargain. |

Iran's president has denied reports he threatened to withhold oil sales if Tehran was referred to the UN Security Council over its nuclear activities.
The UN nuclear watchdog agency passed a resolution a week ago paving the way for Iran to be reported to the council. |

Sounds like typical politics then.
Another politician spinning and denying something that they had said. I seriously doubt that Iran is not going to respond to be sanctioned by the UN. |

The noises don't mean anything. Cheney and Israel will attack Iran no matter what. The only way to stop it is to bring down thw whole Bush/Cheney regime. _________________ "The world is changed... Cheney and Israel are determined, but not mad. They would like to attack but know that at the current situation this is not possible.
Although....just a few days ago I saw a university lecture about the phenomenon of the book "Left Behind" on TV, and it's breathtaking how much the neocon politics follows the script....
Could they really be madmen who believe in the rupture, the Antichrist (UNO, Europeans, liberals), Israel, Babylon (Baghdad, Iran) and so on??
I always thought they use the religious fervor as a tool to mobilize their followers, but the possibility that they really believe this humbug gives me the shivers... |

Note the US SPR could pump 3 million BPD for 6 months if need be. That would pretty well replace Iranian production until the Persians are nuked into submission. It is a disgusting thought, but that is how the neocons think. They enjoy mass murder. Like amateur serial killers, they will keep going until they are stopped. Just ask anyone in FDNY. _________________ "The world is changed... I feel it in the water... I feel it in the earth... I smell it in the air... Much that once was, is lost..." - Galadriel |

| i would almost guarentee either israel or the u.s will attack irans nuclear sites before bush is through. israel will not let iran become a nuclear country. i personally believe iran is being propped up by china and russia and is already a nuclear country. |

I honestly think that the US and Isreal should seriously think twice about attacking Iraq for 2 reasons...
#1. This is not a washed up army like the Iraqi army they rolled over on their way to Bagdad.. This is a million soldier army with solid armaments and weapons. They would put up one hell of a fight and seeing as though they are right between Afganistan and Iraq could do some seious damage to what the coalition troops are trying to do in those countries.
#2. CHINA... China just might just involved... if not militarily then definetly diplomatically.. They got burned once after losing those huge contracts they signed with Saddam develop oil and natural gas only to watch the US come in, take over and declare those contracts null and void. Now they have contracts with the Iranians to develop natural gas and oil... and I think this time China wont just "let it go". Once bitten twice shy.
And I know I said only 2 reasons.. but one more... without a draft where the hell would they get the troops. And dont just answer by saying they will only be bombing the facilities... if they do that Iran will invade the hell out of Iraq or Afganistan.. or both.. |

| i dont think the u.s has a choice. its either attack now or deal with an islamic nuclear country who would love nothing else but to give nukes to terrorists to use against the u.s. The u.s is in a box and there isnt any choice. either way, its not good. Bush and cheney are full aware of PO and dont really care about the economic consequences of attacking iran. Oil and domination is all that is on their mind. |
