Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

I was watching CNN just minutes ago and they have big coverage of the effect of terror on oilprices. There seems to be a rising concern and fear that terrorists from AQ will try to disrupt the oilsupply and that it will bump the price of crude significantly.

Speaking of, oil just rose in market trading to over 42 dollars a barrel. A new record high.

Theres also news about oil in nigeria where people are demonstrating about there oil reserves that are being exported big time and not used for the own country.

This could be good news....

If we reach an oil peak price, before an oil peak production, then sociaties will begin energy conservation, which will make the oil peak production last longer. It will also make alternatives more attractive to invest in now.

Who cares about who makes what - we are talking about the survival of civilization as we know it.

High price now will make people invest in alternatives, and energy conservation will take off big time.
