Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

Now, if we had a community set up, this would have been done last week Smile

40% chance of rain on Monday, so I'm going to be needing it, just hope to get it finished before I need it. Anyone want to come learn how to roof a house this weekend? I'll furnish food & drinks while your here.

We’ll be at the park around 11 am. – the tip-off is I’m in a gold jacket and Susan in a green and we’re standing next to the guy in red flannel and overalls – just don’t tell Novak.

We can only stay a few hours until the supper break perhaps, but what Bob has laid out for that time is fine with us. Is anyone able or willing to attend a longer period? Perhaps a shorter agenda is in order – unless you’ve received a good response locally Bob?

Hey y'all!

Looking forward to the meet up this Saturday! The fall colors are beautiful in Eureka Springs this week. We had a little rain yesterday,Monday, and I think I made the colors even better.

We can add or subtract from the proposed agenda as anyone may wish - after all this is an informal meeting. Toward the end I would like to talk about hosting a larger conference some where in the area next year.

Time is running short if you need info and a map of Eureka Springs send me a PM with your address and I'll mail out a packet of information.

See y'all Saturday!

Bob

This is funny and attributed to advancing old age.

Last weekend I was sitting in Basin Park. I arrived early, 10:30 AM, by noon I was concerned that nobody had come to greet me – remember I’m the guy wearing overalls and a red flannel shirt.

Although I had a good visit with a lot of my local friends by 2 PM I was sort of feeling blue that no one showed up for our Peak Oil meet-up.

After all, I’d gotten to Basin Park early made up several extra agendas, copied several Peak Oil interviews to MP3 files to give away at the meeting and had looked forward to meeting with like minded people.

When I got home I rechecked my calendar and realized that our Peak Oil meeting is THIS WEEKEND – NOVEMBER 12 - not last weekend. I feel so much better now!

As the owner of a failing memory, I need a little extra support.

Please, y’all tell me if you still plan to come to Eureka Springs this Saturday.

Peace,

Bob

P.S. As before call my cell phone if you need directions or need to find the rest of the group – (479) 981-3700.

That’s pretty funny Bob!

Kind of why I confirmed the date after your last post, but I didn’t want to say next Saturday not this Saturday and forget to take it down…

Anyway, we’ll be there!

Regretfully I won't be able to meet ya'll this weekend due to unexpected visitors to the homestead.
Have fun,

Well a disappointing turnout, a few tornado forecasts must have put some folks off. Smile

But thanks to Bob for hosting the first annual PO.com Ozark get together! The town is really pretty, kind of a mix of Park City, Santa Fe and, well, the Ozarks.

We solved many of the problems facing mankind and, for a fee, will be happy to share.

I look forward to seeing a notice on the board Kiosk (http://www.peakoil.com/forum32.html ) by the host for next year’s Ozarker meeting (by the way, I hereby rescind the official November date Smile ).
