Light Sweet Crude Oil

Member Quotes
Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

Does anyone have a nice list of the top 10 (or even more if it's easy) fields and whether they are in decline or not. I don't know where to find that info.

Hey, A_O, that list looks familiar.

I think this is a nice idea. We should get this list as complete as possible. It might be very illustrative.

No 7 Ahwaz and no 9 Marun: Decline

Quote:
Production of Ahwaz Bangestan oil field, for example, has fallen to 160,000 b/d from 250,000 b/d and will fall to 60,000 b/d within 1-2 years. A gas injection program could increase production to 220,000 b/d and maintain it at that level.

Quote:
Ahwaz, Marun and Bibi Hakimeh oilfields (which together having a capacity to produce 1.46m b/d). The experts are helping with a wider research programme to tap vast amounts of oil in place. These fields are old and on a natural decline for years.

These three sites seem to confirm Marlim is declining, maybe at about 8%
especially the last one.
