Hoarding is exactly what the government is doing right now by filling the SPR, and frankly it's the best thing that could happen. It drives prices up. High prices encourage demand destruction. They also finance new well development. The hoarded oil gives us a buffer to fall back on once shortages become more prevalent. High prices are what we need in order to adapt to what's coming, and the sooner they happen, the better.

I'm sure many of the people on this site do a lot of reading. I'm fond of my bookmarks as I never seem to finish these huge Peak Oil related books in one sitting. I was thinking it would be nice to have some bookmarks with Peak Oil related quotes, the way many bookmarks have famous quotes on them. I did a quick google search to see if I could find a service where I could design my own bookmark, but everything I found fell into either one of two categories: too expensive or too cheap. The cheap stuff was programs to design your own bookmark and print it out, and the expensive stuff were nice metal bookmarks, but you could only order them in bulk.
