I have a feeling that the Katrina thread situation will not go quietly into the night.
Please consider moderating the thread creation process, at least for newbies. Once a moderator is comfortable with a poster, then they could release the moderation cap on their new threads. This assumes that this board has the capabilities mentioned above, of course.
A Katrina forum might also be the answer for this. _________________ http://www.carfree.com

Recently, I've noticed larger numbers (and if I were really a numbers person I would properly post the data) of people are visiting and membering to this site. I think that's wonderful.
Along these lines, I'm curious regarding capacity/boundaries for this forum. I experienced sluggish interaction recently. Is it you or is it me?
Also, me included. DONATE to this site. The quality of people posting are a gift.
Best,
Cynthia |

You are quite right.
And sluggish is a kind way to put it.
The site is growing like crazy. Our traffic tracks with gas prices.
We had our first 1/4 million pages served day... day before yesterday.
We are working to double or even triple our capacity very soon.
Thanks to our members for their donations which make this place possible.
