This one is easy...
From the patent:
| Quote: | | 0006: The novelty of the present invention over preceding prior art is clear and distinct. The prior art deals with equipment and methods for the processing of water into conventional gaseous fuels, that is, fuels possessing the conventional molecular chemical composition or mixture of chemical compositions and is sometimes referred to as "Brown's Gas". |
Also know in chemistry as "total crap".
| Quote: | | By comparison, the present invention provides equipment or a system and related processes (methodology) to produce novel fuel composed of a chemical species beyond that of molecules, that is, HHO combustible gas, which fuel is produced from water using a particular form of electrolyzer. |
Know in chemistry as "total crap + even more crap".
Behold his "picture" of the HHO "molecule"...

I can't stand the fact that USPTO patent drawings still have to be rendered by hand. Bunch of Luddites running that office who want to keep some draftsmen using Leroy lettering sets employed.
It doesn't matter how insane the idea is, they will still redraw it according to their archaic conventions. |

| Might be a little more believeable if one could find documentation of a careful energy balance on the process. It should be easy enough to measure the watts input and the BTU/hr out in steady-state operation. Wonder why such results are so hard to find? |

is it a hoax...if it's real but I heard about these kind of miracle things too much to believe it straight away....
Anyone got any background information on this technology?

yes..but apperently it's something diffrent than H2 02...if it's not it's just another hoax. (learned eltrolysis in highschool i know you end up losing energy)
Anyway, since it ends up producing water again, and it must be subject of the first law of thermodynamics, I think we CAN conclude this is a hoax. Another dent in Foxnews' reputation.

HHO is just what scammers called a mixture of H2 and O2 produced by electrolysis.
Nothing special about it.
They just want to sell their expensive electrolysers. |

I came to the same conclusion...the HHO title is misleading. _________________ "The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time."

HHO stands for "Honeys Huggin' my Otter." It is the activity that MerWomen engage in when I enter the water.

No dude, it is not a hoax.
We are going to be able to desalinate all the ocean water we would ever need from this HHO process. Water is now an unlimited free energy source.
Just think of the possibilities. We will be able to turn deserts into lush tropical forests or farms. We will be able to build mega-cities in the middle of the deserts too. We'll be able to have vast fish farms where we raise all our ocean food while protecting the oceans themselves. We will even be able to reverse the ecological damage and stabilize climate change. And on top of all of that, we will be able to spread American affluence to every human on Earth. And we'll be able to grow the human population for another 1000 years, almost without any degradation to the natural environment or poverty.
The greatest invention and discovery has happened. Nothing else in history has even come close to shaping man's destiny......
...And it all came out of some dude's garage..
It can't be a hoax. |

(Video) Aquygen - HHO Water Fuel Breakthrough
| Quote: | Aquygen is basically a “novel gas made from ordinary water through our patented electrolysis process — it even works for a hybrid hydrogen-powered car.” Videos after the jump. What are your thoughts?
Wondering when someone will finally put a hydrogen-powered car on the road? We’ve done it twice. As seen on Fox news and CNN, our patent-pending Hybrid Hydrogen Oxygen System (HHOS) generates Aquygen™ gas as you drive, typically enhancing the fuel-efficiency of a traditional gasoline or diesel engine 30-50% |

It is not a hoax according to my hoax scale.
if at least one of this is true, than it is NOT a hoax (fo shizl)
1) the claimed invention is coming from some unknown dude's garage,
2) can never be seen except in some youtube video, in which you actually see nothing.
3) A huge number of working prototypes exist which break down as soon as an independet party comes into close vicinity.
4) the invention can solve P=NP, cure AIDS and SARS, win in Iraq AND supply free energy at the same time.
5) the inventor claims being oppressed by some crazy guys from his internet forum who actually believed him and now want to see the device.
Well, in this case = this is definitely NOT a hoax. The reason it is not being used is simple - it will not be interesting anymore. What would your life be worth if this technology were used? nothing!
