Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

So, Oregonians, what do you have to say? Tell me why you love your city.... I'm relocating to one or the other this spring! Which do you choose and why???

Well, I live in Portland after being relocated by my employer from Eugene (about 5 yrs each). What would you like to know? Like anything else, it's pretty much subject to individual tastes. Personally I prefer Portland, mostly due to it's larger size and its greater variety of activities and places to go. If you want a little more open space then Eugene is probably your best bet. Both have ski resorts about an hour away (Willamette Pass & Mount Hood), decent Universities (U of O & Portland State) and each their fair share of hippies. _________________ "I invoke law 7 of the laws of 8..."
