Like the illusion of Wall Street, with its vast and powerful investment banks, now shuttered, China too is an illusion perpetuated by the Globalists that gave us the 15,000 mile Caesar salad, poisoned cat food and lead based paint on babies' pacifiers. Like the illusion that money would come from thin air to always push housing prices higher, China has spent a generation pursuing its illusion. Pursuing an unattainable dream to be like the West, while 6000 years of its carefully shepherded top soil blows into the sea.

When state militias are formed to stem the tide....it will be too late. However stuff like this happens, and its not a big deal for someone to be killed once in a while. _________________ We stand here, as the light of other days surrounds us.

Those darn zombies!!!
Good point actually! Personally I find zombie movies to be allegorical of being overwhelmed by migrants and general societal collapse. People overrunning a border for food, jobs or some other element of life are much like mythical zombies. Zombies are portrayed as needing a limited resource; brains are the common movie theme. And once they use up that limited resource then the now resource deprived become zombies too.
Most jobs collapse when the zombies strike, except perhaps law enforcement and military (depending on the movie). Anyway, economies collapse and "28 days" made an interesting point that after a collapse it didn't take long for the solders to get "weird" seizing resources and people.
And always in movies zombies are treated and viewed as no longer being people; OK to kill. They are thought of as something that is dead or should be dead. Much like how it is too easy for people to think migrants should die (should be dead) in their own country then drag us down. And there is no shortage of Texans for example with that attitude in real life.
And it is interesting to think about how people fight the undead in movies. Characters may try to hole up, stocking food, water, power. Characters also often run from the zombies (very entertaining), migrating to safer places, which is actually a zombie like behavior. They fight the zombies with guns & bullets. Silver bullets being useful against undead in some movies - perhaps symbolic of silver currency or something that retains its power or value after a collapse.
In the Hellsing Anime they use lots of silver bullets... But also it is interesting how they portray zombies and vampires. In Hellsing a person bitten by a vampire can only become a "real vampire" if they were a virgin (in the Japanese version). This plot device is odd but symbolic of having self control making it possible to be separate from zombies and to not suffer their fate. Interestingly, it could be inferred that the plot and even the immortality of the Hellsing vampire is centered around the idea of sustainability. This idea can also be seen at the end of "28 days", they were living a sustainable simpler life at a farm house - when they were spotted to be rescued.
So what can we learn from zombie movies? Together "flexibility, not having a lot of baggage, having or being the hot girlfriend, knowing a little farming, knowing military can get weird, a few silver bullets and having some slower friends" are your best assets when fighting the undead. Also regarding holing up, hungry hands easily poke though drywall, vents, even the ground... So as appealing as it is holing up for any length of time it is extremely ineffective against zombies, though an OK stopgap and great plot device.
Not that migrants ARE zombies or should be treated that way, but that the effects of resource depletion is a lot like a bad zombie movie. Well that was a mouthful!
