A new one fails to probe the dark recesses of his so-called mind much:
Why is This Man Gloomy? - A biographer gains rare access to Vice President Cheney—but little insight into his psyche.

I admire Dick Cheney, he looks like the kind of guy that'd shoot you in the face and go eat a sandwich. He may or may not be an evil bastard,
but he gets things done. For the record I don't see him as evil just seriously ruthless, machiavellian and smart. Those are admirable attributes in his proffesion, this is why I don't like an overly powerfull political class. Cheney though? That's a top class operator... |

Lex Luthor became the president of the United States in 2000, winning the election on a platform of promoting technological progress (his first action as president was to take a proposed moratorium on fossil-based fuels to U.S. Congress).
Luthor is assisted by the extreme unpopularity of the previous administration's mishandling of the Gotham City earthquake crisis.

High school and college classmate Fred Fair told me that he thought that Rumsfeld was merely a gofer for Cheney.
Fair went to Nixon's funeral with Rumsfeld.
