Hoarding is exactly what the government is doing right now by filling the SPR, and frankly it's the best thing that could happen. It drives prices up. High prices encourage demand destruction. They also finance new well development. The hoarded oil gives us a buffer to fall back on once shortages become more prevalent. High prices are what we need in order to adapt to what's coming, and the sooner they happen, the better.

And honestly, what is so bad about youtube? Hanging around here is enough to want to dull my senses, so what's wrong with a little mindless self-indulgence every now and then? Though I only use youtube to watch old music videos and famous movie scenes. Avoid the stupid crap that people post there and watch in small doses and youtube is a nice addition to a healthy lifestyle.

Okay, giving this a shot, as there really are some Peak Oil-aware people on YouTube and their efforts to get the word out should be commended....especially if the YouTuber is only 13 (!)

I am not a frequent YouTuber, but I did a search for "Peak Oil" there once and was surprised to see how many hits I got! There are tons of peak oil videos there--some quite amateur, some very polished.
