You are going to love this cartoon from Oilyboyd. It's been on Youtube for only about a week and it's gotten 10,000 hits! It's only about two minutes long. Enjoy!

That is cute. Actually very educating as a wake up if you know nothing else about the subject. And I fear the way they portray the steepness of the slope on the down side may not turn out to be an exaggeration.
But of course we can just switch to Hydrogen right? _________________ Skeptical scrutiny in both Science and Religion is the means by which deep thoughts are winnowed from deep nonsense-Carl Sagan |

I think that this is a great way to get our friends to pay attention to peak oil, or at least to start to think about it. The problem with peak oil is that it hasn't hit the mainstream, like global warming. Al Gore's frog got a lot more people thinking about it than all those graphs. Oilyboyd is the first really well done cartoon I have seen about peak oil. _________________ Deep in the mud and slime of things, even there, something sings. |
