You can now select a preferred group for your account among 3 basic choices.
Cornucopian - Subscribing to the "horn of plenty" idea that hydrocarbon depletion will have ultimately beneficial consequences.
Moderate - Subscribing to the idea that hydrocarbon depletion will have serious, but manageable consequences.
Doomer - Subscribing to the idea that hydrocarbon depletion will lead to destructive, if not cataclysmic consequences.
So jump right in and declare your affiliation.

Consequences to who? To what? The economy? Food supply? Life as we know it? What's the diff between 'serious' and 'destructive'? Let's have some definition of terms here. _________________ Conservation is conservative

How about a pecker size indicator. That way we can finally settle the debate DOES SIZE REALLY MATTER! _________________ Just look at us. Everything is backwards; everything is upside down. Doctors destory health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the major media destroy information and religions destroy spirituality.
And it's also it's interesting seeing that Aaron joined the moderate group and the doomer group, but not the cornies. But I understand, rolling your eyes too much over cornacopian posts could give a person eyestrain... Anyway, it's an interesting idea and I don't think it really restricts anything since people can join all groups.

What we need is a racist board, that way the rest of us can ignore the 'free speech' en masse.
That's not a bad idea on the surface. But I think creating a "dark side" to the board would just cause controversy reducing our credibility and create divisions among members. This site is really about energy trends, so personal opinions regarding race shouldn't need that much space anyway, even if it's an issue that comes up a lot.
