Our green-tech company has a potential opening for a summer internship in NYC.
Candidate Qualifications:
Attending a 4 year university
Life Sciences major (preferred)
TA experience (preferred)
Organic Gardening Experience (preferred)
Responsibilities:
Intern will be responsible for maintaining 2 experimental roof top farms
Intern will have the opportunity to conduct product demonstrations to clients at multiple locations within the Greater NYC area.
Intern may have the opportunity to teach classes.
Benefits:
Intern will receive a small monetary stipend
Intern will receive free credits towards a formal permaculture certification
Intern will have the opportunity to learn about permaculture and the green industry while spending the summer in NYC.
This position is still on the drawing board right now. But I think I would be able to allocate a budget for it. So I would appreciate it if all interested candidates forwarded me their resume.
