For a minute there I thought I had to get off my couch, when all the while the fact is we don't have to do anything much but keep things afloat for just a few decades more! In fact, we'd best shut up about PO, because if our offspring finds out we knew about it all along, they'll turn and wring our necks come 2036!

I could see them, Pheba. What kind of dog is that on your farm? _________________ “Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.” (Ted Perry)

Good day from Pheba, from the farm:
Hi: The dog I am holding in my arms, Willybill, is/was a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He was hit and killed by a drunk driver on our gravel road.
The yellow dog is pure mutt. She was savagely abused, and our local humane society had planned on putting her down. They decided to give her a chance, and I adopted her at age 6 months.
The vet at the society told me it would take a long time for her to grow up.
Well, I was patient, and so was she. She's a fantastic dog. She is now a four year old, and one of the best dogs we have ever had. She is part Golden Retreiver, part German Shepherd, part Border Collie, and goodness knows what else. She weighs about 65 pounds but according to her bone structure she should be over 100 pounds. The abuse she endured caused rickets and stunted growth. We love Bessie, and I guess that's all that matters.
We also have a beautiful English Shepherd that somebody dumped last spring (a common occurence). Her name is Kierra.
Thanks for looking. Pheba

This is a photo of me in pure, absolute bliss -- holding Asher Elias. He has turned four, my hair has grown longer and has sprouted more silver, I quit wearing makeup, moved to the country, started farming and a rural psychiatric practice, all since this photo was taken.
But I love this picture and the incredibly, transcendently perfect feeling it brings up in me everytime I look at it, so thought I would share it.
Lumpy
PS - He calls our place "Asher's Farm". At barely 4 years old, he is over 60 pounds of solid kid - not fat - and is turning out to be quite the farm hand! _________________ Dean Karnazes : "Run when you can, walk when you have to, crawl if you must; just never give up." --- Jackie Joyner-Kersee: "It is better to look forward & prepare, than to look back & regret."

All I'm saying is, PO.com is full of ridiculously good looking gentlemen such as myself, along with a small representation of the female population, who's looks will be avoided in this discussion .
All I'm saying is, pick up your game girls! Under 35? Where? I don't seem'em.
