Hoarding is exactly what the government is doing right now by filling the SPR, and frankly it's the best thing that could happen. It drives prices up. High prices encourage demand destruction. They also finance new well development. The hoarded oil gives us a buffer to fall back on once shortages become more prevalent. High prices are what we need in order to adapt to what's coming, and the sooner they happen, the better.

SAND CREEK FARM is seeking a full-time employee to work on a
diversified, sustainable farm in progress. We produce premium food
products and sell direct to consumers. Duties include all aspects of
farm work to include but not limited to description below. We work
our farm with horses and tractors.
The Animal Husbandry responsibilities:
1)Milk herd of 35 cows (~12-20 fresh at any time)
2)Feed and water all farm animals
3)Clean milking parlor and associated facilities of the dairy (milk
house, holding area)
4)Ensure that barnyard and surrounding area is neat and well kept
5)Keep records on cattle performance, health (weekly CMT testing),
breeding, heat cycles, calving
6)Tag & record calf numbers
7)Maintain excellent herd health (treatment for parasites, diagnosis
and proper treatment of occasional illnesses such as mastitis,
respiratory ailments, etc)
8)Assist with procurement of livestock, feed, hay and supplements
(minerals, kelp, salt)
9)Maintain fences
10)Move cows and other livestock through pastures in rotational
grazing system (cows, hogs, sheep, chickens, etc)
Land Management Responsibilities:
1)Seed, mow, maintain organic pastures as needed
2)Seed, cut and bale hay or haylage
3)Help maintain organic fruit orchard (30 trees) & seasonal garden
Qualifications:
1)Willingness to work hard and efficiently
2)Attention to detail and willingness to experiment and use organic
practices
3)Background and/or experience on a dairy farm highly desirable
(familiarity with cows, horses, hogs, sheep, chickens & dogs a plus
but not required)
4)Ability to operate and maintain dairy and farm equipment (milking
machine, pumps, tractor, mower, tractor implements, hay cutter and
baler)
5)Familiarity with fruit & produce production is desirable but not
required; however, must be interested in and/or willing to learn
organic production methods
6)Must be willing to be randomly drug tested
7)Must be TB free and take an annual TB test

dear lord! you want all of this to be done, by 1 man? What are you planning to pay if its not a secret since an employee apparently will need "food products as available'' ?
