Thanks to globalism, the EU, and 'big' business we have from the International Herald Tribune:

Are you a green farmer, LS? If so, best of luck in confronting the globalists. If not, then please support your local farmers to the best of your ability. When TSHTF, you will need them - and you should manage just fine in Poland when it does go down. _________________ Riches are not from abundance of worldly goods, but from a contented mind. |

Hopefully they can hang on until oil prices get too high for mechanized farms.
Also on a side note, we have a lot of young Polish working on farms here in the UK. How is this affecting things over there? So many young people working else where. |

Ainan: There is less problems with getting well-payed job in cities. That's all. We exported unemployment Third of young people were unemployed.
Anyway, I think our ministry of agriculture should defend those farmers as it did for so many years. Poland has one of the biggest employment in agriculture (10-15% of labor force), for us it's crucial. _________________ The poor complain; they always do,

As long as they went west and never returned, that is fine by me.
Fewer troubles with zombie hordes in Poland.
Abundant and cheap properties in countryside will help with relocalization of some proportion of city folks once TEOTWAWKI arrived.

I used to think the Amish (in Pennsylvania) would do pretty good during PO. I heard on CNBC that many of them are having trouble with the price of gasoline because they use it for powering farm equipment. They can't use it for vehicles, but can use it for other machinery.
