Don’t worry, just a little bump - $70 is just around the corner. Short traders just keep making those margin calls, mortgage the house if you have to. Fortunes await you! PO is for pansies and doomers. At $70 short some more ..... it is going back to $22 .... the world is awash with oil ........ reality has nothing to do with it, its all in those charts!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you do not. Perhaps that is the source of your resentment, being failed by them, being one of the ones that did not make it. And now you are engaged in unproductive economic activity, a hostage to the discretionary spending of an indebted society facing crisis. I would wish you luck with that sarcastically, but actually that is one of the quarters from which I am expecting future reductions to come.

I'm not worried Gampy. I am rich compared to most folks. This is just more antidotal evidence of a declining economy. I seek neither your support nor pity. If there is pity to be had, pity yourself. The bile you are swimming in will in time consume you.

Cool, another dipshit who thinks the world revolves around them loses their job. Hurray!
Lol. Seriously. I have no sympathy for you. Go work at McDonalds, or Burger King like the rest of us farking service workers.
That sounds bad, and shitty. Yeah, but you know what? Fark like you are the problem, not the solution. Collecting a paycheque from the taxpayer, and you are bitching because you got your hours cut?
farking civil servant.
Seriously. I hate you people. Educate our children? Nah, you Fark just collect a paycheque and benefits. You really don't give a crap about kids, unless you you get payed. And don't even try to tell us different. I know teachers. I have 3 of them in my family. They are all the farking same.
See you on the front lines flipping burgers, and turning sod buddy.
Whoo Hooo! I have a teaching degree! I want the taxpayer to pay for my farking overpriced house and farking SUV and farking 401k!
Go Fark yerself.
I have an education, I have a work ethic, and I would never ever bitch out loud about government cutting my farking hours. Because what you have is a farking bonus , friend. See it as such. It ain't gonna last too long either. Learn to cook, or learn to turn ground.
Sorry, rant over. I am just a poor shmuck who sees these farking liberal entitlement loving assholes turned away to the real world.
That is really very sad.
edited to add: Gampy, some how your response seemed to be centered around you when Cloud9's post had nothing whatsoever to do with you. Just a comment.

Very characteristic of what we can expect to occur from the stresses that will be created between the social classes as PO advances. The now privileged classes in our society will find themselves brutally excommunicated as their specialized skills, and positional advantages, which were acquired due to a high energy world, become useless.
Don’t think that the working (producing) classes, the carpenters, plumbers, electricians and pipe fitters are going to extract you from the upcoming crisis. They are bitter, resentful and like the post above shows, generally waiting to celebrate your demise.

Thing is, lot's of these peeps with positional advantages/ big money jobs think they should get "services" from the working stiffs for practically nothing.

Have any of you dear people actually worked with children? If you have, you'd realize that digging ditches, gutting fish, flipping burgers, beats flipping out....and that is what happens to a lot of teachers, before they suffer complete burnout or develop chronic long term health problems. I wouldn't teach if you paid me several hundred thousand a year to do it, after 40 years of age. It's too risky, health wise.

HELL NO
I hate children and I wish the world had less of it. If I was in charge I'd create this system like in the Matrix where people pop out of incubators as fully grown human beings.
///
I have nothing against government workers and I'm one of the most pro-free-market supporters still alive in these turbulent times when being (pro free market capitalistic) is not a very sexy thing to be these days. So long as people work for what they earn I'm okay with it.

You're out of line calling people "dipshit".
This isn't jr. high school.

I wish I could get some for my poor sister whose medication isn't working. Not surprising since depression meds are barely better than placebo. _________________ "...powerdown so soft and fluffy you'll think you're living in a pillow..." - jboogy

I work with some of the neatest kids on the planet. There are a few lost causes in the group but most of them will do fine. My classes are a mixture of Hispanics, Blacks and Blue Collar Whites. They are going to pick up the ball we drop and run with it.
It is a supposition to assume that teachers can’t do anything but teach. I grew up in a family of mechanics, machinists, carpenters, plumbers, electricians and farmers. I was budding orange trees when I was twelve years old. I have the fuselage of a Sonerai that I have completed in my hanger. It is on the wheels and the engine is mounted. I know how to dig a ditch and cook swamp cabbage. I’ve made syrup and scalded hogs and rendered the pork rinds. I’m a pretty spry old man. I think I will be just fine for a few more years.
